Intended Use¶
Talkid is a toy walkie-talkie for children.
It is made for voice calls and messages with approved contacts.
A parent or approved adult should set up Talkid, approve contacts, and supervise use.
Each Talkid is paired with the smartphone of a guardian, such as a parent or another adult responsible for the child, through the Talkid app. The guardian can use the app to manage the child's individual contacts and groups.
The app notifies the guardian when the Talkid receives, sends, or accepts an invitation, or when the Talkid is added to or removed from a group. The responsible adult must review these notifications and make sure the child only communicates with known and approved people, not strangers.
