Talkid User Manual

This manual explains how to use the Talkid device: a walkie-talkie for kids that works over Wi-Fi and connects with the Talkid app on a phone.

What is Talkid?

Talkid is a kids walkie-talkie device. Your child can:

  • Talk to friends over Wi-Fi, with no distance limit when Wi-Fi is available.
  • Connect with a phone so a parent or approved adult can manage the Talkid from the Talkid app.
  • Stay in touch with approved adults using Talkid and the Talkid app.
  • Send and receive text messages, voice messages, emojis, animations, and prerecorded sounds.
  • Create friend groups to talk to several friends at once.

With the Talkid app, a parent or approved adult can approve contacts, set time limits, and manage usage.

Get started

Safety

A parent or approved adult should complete setup, pairing, and contact approval. Only allow contacts you know and trust. Read Safety and Warnings before a child uses Talkid.
